| In tutor, it could be better to practice the past paper questions so that we can know overall format of test paper. (Diploma - IBL) |
None. Unfortunately, past exam papers are not available for Diploma exams. However, sample exam questions are usually made available towards the end of the exam and your lecturer is able to advise you on the format of the exam and the format of the questions frequently asked in the final exam. Your best contact in this case in regards to your query is your lecturer. |
- If campus could provide us cheaper book and improved library.
- With access to an actual library or at least reimburse the money for when we join another uni's library. |
Books sold at ACN are already discounted. The other avenue in getting cheaper textbook is to buy pre-owned/used textbooks from students who have completed the subjects in previous semesters. Please check the notice board in the computer lab for such opprtunities. All prescribed textbooks through to semester 2007-1 are now available in the ACN library holding. Please ask for borrowing rights at Front Desk. Students can use the the State library or join the library at Uni of Sydney where membership fee is still approximately $50. | La Trobe needs facilities so that we can do the excel on our own computers rather than just being shown. Hard to learn technical stuff without being able to put into practice. (MIS) |
MIS is conducted both in the class room and in the computer lab. The computer lab is available for all current students if they need to use computers for academic purpose. Students are also able to practice on their home computer with the user friendly Excel handbook that accompany the textbook for this unit.

| The lecturer is overall good but is always late to class and spends approx 20 min each lesson popping out of class. Tutorial time is not as effective as it should be as time is cut short by lecturer and little is cared. Tutorials are week behind. |
The Academic Director has brought this comment to the attention of the lecturer concerned. |
